Artist’s Action Point – Make the most of your business card
‘I am always amazed at how many artists say, “I‘m sorry I don’t have one.” when I ask them for their business card!
I can’t imagine any good reason for that answer. Either I’m a potential customer wanting to contact you in the future or I want to pass your information on to someone I think will like your work. In either case, you should ALWAYS have a buisiness card to hand over.
If you want to make the most of this valuable tool then make sure you do the following:
- put an image of your best selling, current style of artwork on one side
- add a small headshot of you on the back
- give me multiple ways to contact you – email, phone, website and an address or your galleries address whenever possible”
- If you find Art Practice Action Points useful please feel free to forward them to a friend. If this email has been forwarded to you, you can view all the previous Action Points or subscribe to receive them each week in your in box by clicking here.
