Ghost prints from solar etching session- #SWS
#SixWordSaturday A day of experimenting in the print room- not sure I have quite mastered the technique but hopefully on Tuesday I will get better results? I turned the prints upside down and I think they look a bit like angels wings- or at least 'wings' what do you think? The last one in blue …

Blue hues
I had fun last week making these cyanotypes in the garden. A bit hit and miss as the timings can vary depending on the sun. Sometimes they work out and sometimes they are not so great, but the unexpected nature of making art is what makes it interesting. I have signed up for some printmaking …

Death Dreams & Desire
Memento Collective, a group of five contemporary artists, have found a source of inspiration in the work of Sigmund Freud. This collective exhibition, ‘Death, Dreams & Desire’ responds to Freud’s ideas and thinking through a multitude of creative approaches, from the haunting and self-questioning to the deathly and the curious. All of the senses will be stimulated through sound, film, photography, drawing, textiles and paint. This group exhibition shines new light on Freudian thinking and ideas, and will keep visitors intrigued long after they leave. DEATHS DREAMS & DESIRES We are excited to announce that our exhibition entitled 'Death, Dreams & Desire' will take place from 22nd September to 2nd October 2022. The venue is the unique Safehouse 1 in Peckham, London.
