Courses on solar plate printing | ART-e.

Studio 15 run regular courses for those who want to learn the solar-plate printmaking technique.

I have just spent the day at Sheila de Rosa’s solar plate etching workshop at Studio 15 in Tring.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, Sheila is very knowledgeable and her techniques inspiring and interesting.

During the course of the day I was able to produce several plates and test prints with successful outcomes and potential for further experimentation with techniques she demonstrated.

I can’t wait to get to the print studio to produce more prints!
