Exploring Art in Clay – major exhibition at Hatfield – Home – Hertfordshire.
“Ranging from contemporary sculpture to beautiful bowls and elaborate tea pots, the works of 190 artists will be on show in a series of marquees in the gardens of the stately home from July 5 to 7.
As well as established British ceramists, including Geoff Swindell, Sarah Walton and Remon Jephcott, there are international stars such as Fumihiro Fuyushiba and Dorte Visby.
Now in its 19th year, Art in Clay is a Mecca for serious collectors, but also a great day out for the non-specialist, the organisers say, with children particularly welcome to try throwing a pot or create a sculpture to take home.
The show opens from 10am to 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday and 10am to 5pm Sunday. Admission is £9 for adults (£8.50 concessions) per day, £15 for a two-day ticket and £22.50 for all three days. Under-15s go free.”
Hertfordshire Life readers can take advantage of a two-for-one offer. Go to page 56 of the July issue – out now – for details…”
