The Hallmarked Man Done and Dusted!

#Six Word Saturday #6WS

I tried so hard to not binge this long awaited eighth novel in the Strike series of books from Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling)

But it was just too damn good- totally absorbing and a gripping yarn.

Now I am bereft- I may just have to read it all through again- all nine hundred odd pages. I think in my excitement I may have skimmed over some of the finer plot details! https://share.google/images/S1yA8dqJxAVKaFE7k

My current ‘book club’ book is Secret River By Kate Grenville. Im getting into it but my mind keeps drifting back to Strike and Robin.

    1. Oh that’s a shame- but I get how some authors are not always to our taste- have you tried on audio books? Although the accents can sometimes be annoying! It’s also on tv 😊

      1. I rarely listen to audio books because I can read so much faster. And I avoid TV adaptations even more because they destroy my mental images of the people in the books. 😁. When I’ve used audio books on a trio and don’t finish before getting back, I try to get the book from the library so I can get done sooner.
