Sitting in the garden on Saturday

Six Word Saturday

What a joy yesterday sitting in the garden in the sunshine. Except that like most of us, I suspect, sitting was interspersed with jumping up with secateurs in hand and snipping off dead ends of shrubs.

As my garden is presently a container garden, I’m also continually moving the pots around as the plants grow taller and fuller they need re arranging constantly to show off their best side!

My garden gives me so much joy, especially in the Spring when everything comes to life.

Some free plants I received a couple of years ago have suddenly flowered this Spring- a blaze of unexpected colour! Also my clematis is covered in huge buds, about to explode into purple/blue blooms. yayyyy

On Saturday I also installed my new bird feeder- it claims to exclude pests and pigeons from getting to the bird feed- we will see. Pigeons are the one thing that annoy me, they poo in the bird bath and all over the garden, they greedily eat all the bird seed mostly scattering it all over the ground.

Well apart from harping on about my blue poppy- did I mention two blooms are now open? haha so sorry to keep on about it, there is a third bud too, so watch this space for yet more photos 🙂
