On Sunday I will say farewell to my wonderful studio at The Forge Digswell. My five year fellowship at Digswell Arts is at an end.
Just returned home from a most amazing break spent at The Lizard in Cornwall. Overlooking Church Cove where the tide washed gently in and out and fishing boats passed by, children swam and wildlife did what wildlife does, so relaxing and at the same time inspiring. My current project is an investigation into hag stones and beach pebbles generally, how they form, what creates their weathered appearance and how time and tides have worn them down and round and created their fascinating labyrinths, and unique surfaces.
