Yesterday a garden party with paddling pool out for the children and fun in the sun. The Circus has now become a family tradition to visit every year. After …

Which food, when you eat it, instantly transports you to childhood? Field mushrooms. With my Dad early Sunday morning On an early Sunday morning, the dew still fresh on the fields, we would go mushrooming. Mum would fry them, often one would fill the frying pan! The most delicious flavour, unlike any shop bought ones.😋

Muse of the day 10.6.2023

Who do you spend the most time with? Probably, I have to admit, it is my Burmese Ragdoll Cross- feline companion Rex. He is affectionate- when he feels like it, demanding at times and aloof . But his one redeeming attribute- he never contradicts anything I say, in fact he is quite indifferent to any …

SHADOW

#OWS #ONEWORDSUNDAY MAY 28 #SHADOW Lizard PointLizard Point is the most southerly point on mainland Great Britain at 49° 57' 30" N. Sitting in the garden on Saturday

Except that like most of us, I suspect, sitting was interspersed with jumping up with secateurs in hand and snipping off dead ends of shrubs. As my garden is presently a container garden, I'm also continually moving the pots around as …
