HOME

#OWS #OneWordSunday

Home is where the heart is.

Looking after my three grandchildren, two dogs and the house this week has been challenging but wonderful. Virtually moving home for a week and stepping into my Daughters shoes- how does she do it?

School run- one drop off at bus stop at 7am back to collect two more for two different schools. House chores, washing, meals etc. Then pick up from various places – after school activities- drop off, pick up. Dinner , bed – stories for the youngest and homework. Bed for me – very early and not sleeping that well. Dogs barking at some ungodly hour because they have sensed something outside!

I’d forgotten how exhausting it can be- but so lovely to spend time with my grandchildren.

Today I’m going home! My Home. 🏠

    1. Thank you Debbie- The snail appeared when I searched for home in I photos- so I can’t take the credit for the idea! I’m sad to leave for home today, but it will be nice to get back to my quiet home with no crazy dogs- one who has springs on his legs! I’ll miss the children.
