metaphors for memory

My work is rooted in a fascination with abandoned landscapes and the stories they carry. These places, marked by traces of human presence and absence, exist in a space where past and present meet. I am drawn to their haunting beauty — fragile reminders of what once was, yet alive with possibility for renewal.

A recent visit to two castles and a friary in Suffolk are inspiration for a new body of work, still at the ‘play’ stage. Reconstructing a line of landscape juxtaposing images taken from different angles.
