When I first thought lines, I saw straight parallel lines in my mind, but then I found this from a gallery visit and I recalled a memory from Art School back in 1968. The tutor instructed the group to draw using only five different length of line, or a continuous line. I was perplexed and had to think through the puzzle – how would I do this.
Anyway enough of that- here is my ‘line’ prompt in response to Debbie’s One Word Sunday prompt.
GEGO – Gertrude Godschmidt https://www.royalacademy.org.uk/article/gego-rediscovering-an-extraordinary

A few more ( of mine) lines…..

A brilliant choice, Caryl. I love the loss of “parallelness”
I had also been thinking simple straight lines, but soon lost the simple!

Aah thank you Debbie- that’s why I love your prompts- they get the brain working and enable a different view/ outcome of images! Thanks 🙏🏼☺️

I really like your eclectic gallery of lines, Caryl. 🙂 I always have to be careful typing your name because my mind sees “Carly” instead of “Caryl.”

Thanks so much for your comment 🙂 Yes It’s a recent phenomena having my name changed by predictive text! 🙂 I know mostly people don’t realise it’s happened until it’s too late. But thank you.x
