My favourite place to be is by the sea- no surprises there but more specifically along the northerly Cornish coastline at Gwithian Towans where Godrevy Lighthouse looks out across to the open sea in one direction and St Ives Bay inland. The crumbly coastline is being slowly eroded away by stormy seas and every visit reveals a changed landscape. The rugged monoliths of rock stand separated on the beach revealing their ancient history.
