Angela VERDON is a practicing ceramic artist who after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1974, continues to work making one-off pieces for exhibitions both nationally and internationally, and undertaking public and private commissions. Using bone china, her focus has evolved from translucent vessels to abstract sculptural forms. The pieces emphasize the strengths, tactile qualities and surface tension of the material whilst at the same time working contrary to its inherent non-plasticity resulting in the creation of fluid evocative structures
