April 10 Photo of the Day: Authentic


A few months ago I took part in a two day drawing workshop. Drawing is something that had fallen by the wayside for me, as I tend to use photography and video as a visual journal to capture ideas for further development. Drawing is the best tool to really focus on detail and is a great way to ‘draw out the essence of what it is you are trying to represent’

One thing I brought away with me was the importance of authenticity in my work. Something I hope to always be mindful of.

Here are a few plein air sketches from the first day and then the developed drawings made in the studio on day two.
